I recently had very hot and burnt smelling engine it was the alternator which has gone and burnt. EML came on made paperclip test which said high woltage lmfao so gone and changed it. I f I were you Id use a coolant flush additive through the system and check if the auxillary waterpump working.

Have a standart 8 valver 2.0 saloon 1993 my

I have bare door mouldings and bare skirts of Gsi

What do I need for trouble free-long term performance installation

really dont want to go a welder and make rust friendlyy pins on:( any other way?

Sticking clips on body then wear the skirts

Im suspecting the middle silencer..its a catalyst like silencer and its still GM so I think its been contaminated bad any other comments?

Hi guys I have recently replaced plugs ,ht leads,back and mid box,engine mount, vacuum pipes as much as I can...Cleaned flow meter and inlet manıfold and idle speed valve but its still going on. At idle ,car vibrates I really hate it. like an old bedford truck steering wheel vibrates no oil in water...

Yeah.Glass stickin black silicone seems solvent free....A friend sticked door moulds with bath sylicone which caused fluctuation on board lol The best is to use original GSI mount clips any one know how much we need them and part codes please At worst we can use black glass slycone;)) Würth like qua...

Spot Welded on,I have recently have changed it on my calibra hovever you have to be very very careful...All front end could look terrible when done poorly.....You do have 4 point punto welds.

Yeah dude seems you have done some butchery while screwing and riveting,they can cause deteoration!! And the rivets may cause galvanitic reaction and rot!! There is numerous in line holes on oem metal skirt those are the mountage holes for sri skirt I guess and result water not to trap in skirt and ...

Mate that is the problem that there is no factory dot extensions on sill to click on the clips..I want to have a mechanic montage at somewhere to ensure the strength!! I really dont rely on glues...I t can fall on high speed an damage other cars I ll be given prison then lol Icant rivet or etc the c...

My replica car will be based on a facelift saloon 2.0 GL , do I need any other fixings( plastics etc) to fit GSı bodykit? I know there is some fixing clamp in sills that should be klicked onto factory extensions.I think to stick clamps into sills than clamp to sideskirt??? Any mount brackets needed ...
