cheers for that lads, got a fone call l8 last night from a fellow in the same town as me he has a 1.8i which has only covered 85k from new and has said when i runs out of mot i can take it away as it needs bodywork,i've seen and heard the engine and it's as dry as the day it came out of the factory,...

my 1.8i is still playin up with me and leaking more oil than on the inside of the engine,
i have been offered a v6 for a really stupid price,
i was wonderin if both cars were side by side would it be a straight swap.
any helps gratefull cheers ;)

60mill's spot on m8 are your mudflaps plastic or rubber,my cavvy's slammed on its @rse and my front flaps must be about 20-30mill of the floor my suspensions rock solid so they dont scrape the tuck in but haven't had any problems with them sure you'll sort it out,

have had the same problem here m8 to,the area where i live is ruff as ! the problem was i've 2 kids and i try keepin my place tidy so they can play outside,so as you do i got the kids some toys "swings,slides and other bits" and my neighbour took a dislike cause he's junkie scum my gardens...

if you choose to go down the leather road bear in mind that the lower rear seat of your car will more than likely be a 60/40 split as the turbo leather is jus a 1piece bench and may need some modification to the foam,if yur gonna do that it's roughly when you put the centre armrest down it'll be dir...

MAJOR problems

rocker cover gasket and head gasket are gone the car spews out white smoke upon start up,i've been offered another 1.8 probs is it an auto,are they easy to change from auto to manual as i've been offered it cheap or would i be better to source manual instead,any help is gr8ful cheers :D
