That's good going with that sort of mileage, and those digi-dashes still look cool 30+ years on !

Front disc Backplates..?

Hi all, im in the process of rebuilding the front struts on my turbo and am seeking some info on the front disc back plates. Does anyone know if they differ between models ? The only ones im able to find state they fit the smaller engine'd cars, not 2.0,turbo,v6 etc.

Any help is much appreciated !

Re: C20let trouble starting issue

Checked for any error codes dazzler? Also maybe lazy sticky pump/relay, blocked fuel filter, or fuel pressure regulator. might be worth checking in line pressure when trying to start. Duff coil pack? Lazy fuel pump? Its got a new walbro uprated pump and wiring, new fuel filter and a new relay so no...

Re: Mike and James' 1990 CD Auto

It's all about the finishing touches ! That's really nice that bet it's a real time warp to drive. Any little rust patches like that need wire brushing/ scraping back to good steel and treating with a rust converter, I use built hamber hydrate 80 (very good stuff) and then coating with a top coat to...

C20let trouble starting issue

Hi all, as above I'm in the process of getting the car back on the road after a bit of a hibernation and am encountering poor starting issues. I can always get it to start but it takes quite a while cranking over, and it seems to flood/stall, (if that makes any sense) clear, carry on cranking and th...

Re: rear wheel arches

How long is a piece of string ? Lots of dependant factors - how bad is the rust, is it limited to arches or will it need inners aswell ? (More than likely) and who you get to do it more importantly, if I remember correctly replacement arch repair panels were around 30-40 quid per side last time I bo...

Re: Car Polish

Hmm yea back-to-blacking the trim with anything you have to wipe or spray on invariably gets over glass and paintwork especially when doing door handles and the narrower rubber trims around windows.. Tyre foam is a must though it really sets a clean car off, I like the auto glym version - spray on a...
