Amusing write up but not an amusing situation. Cav's always have a way of reminding you that as soon as you do one thing, then it'll present something else to work on!

LOL.
I'll steer him int he direction fo the forum if he buys her. He currently has a Vectra but wanted something different to go to and from work in.

Re: Lowrider Dave - 1994 GLS (Archer)
Just an small update. The Cavalier has been on ebay a couple of times now. Limited interest, although I have a chap in Liverpool who is showing signs that he may come down and look at it. Its replacement, the Corsa, is nice and comfortable. No real options for tinkering like you can with a Cav but I...

Re: Lowrider Dave - 1994 GLS (Archer)
'Archer' has been reliable as ever taking me to and from work without problem. Last Friday took the VXR to my local stealership, parted with a little extra cash and drove away in a 66 plate Corsa VX-Line SRI. My first car that has cost me more than £1000! With no real room to put the Cavalier, I wil...

Re: Flyered and random Cavs spotted
Closer to Laguna touring alloys than anything the BTCC Cav's wore. They remind me of TSWs but not sure what they actually are.

Re: Lowrider Dave - 1994 GLS (Archer)
Update. Having had the Corsa VXR for a couple of weeks and driven it to and from work I can confirm the suspension setting are dialled in to 'Spinal injury'. I am used to a 'sporter' ride but every little bump is jarring and given that Britain's local roads lack correct maintenance, this is a unplea...

Re: Lowrider Dave - 1994 GLS (Archer)
Not sudden from my side of things, I have been looking for a more modern car since I sold the V6 - I just wanted to shift to a car that had better back support, cruise control, had less reliability issues, etc. I have spend years with 'bangers' and I have long wanted to treat myself to a 'new' car a...

Yep, the stick on one's from Halfraud work just fine - it's what I've always used on past jaunts across to Europe. Be aware of the enviromental zones in German that may apply to you - you have to buy a sticker for your car...https://www.green-zones.eu/en.html

Re: Lowrider Dave - 1994 GLS (Archer)
Dan (migweb) came round to help with wiring I've been wanting to tidy. So we properly wired up - via the fuse box - the dashcam and new voltmeter/USB plugs, removing a load of extra lengths of wiring that passed through the bulkhead making the engine bay and under dash tidier. Got a clearance compan...

Looks much better now and not all crinkly! Pity about the bit and pieces letting it down. At least you can use it now.

DK Photography - Southern 15th meeting photos
Southern meets clock up 15 meetings! A fine clear sunny day over looking Portsmouth, Isle of Wight and all the area around! An excellent turn out, 8 cars in total, an all time high for one of these meets. Of course I should say thank you to those that travelled hours to attend, such as Ian, Lord McG...

Small scale Cavaliers - Part 9: Corgi Vanguards
Corgi Vanguards
A number of Vauxhall vehicles have been produced in a wide variety of scales and manufacturers, one of the most recent of interest to us in particular, is the Corgi Vanguards range. Corgi Toys was introduced to the British public in 1956 and manufactured in Swansea, Wales. The com...

Re: 10th anniversary meet
I suppose whether we wanted to keep this a club only event. I think we may be pushed to get guaranteed extras from Facebook - I could be wrong, I could post on Migweb too if that helps.
