you need to set yourself a budget and decide what you want from it. also is the car a daily driver?
as you wouldn't like it if it was a harsh and bumpy ride.

uprated shocks and lower stiffer springs for handeling. for looks get the grinder out.

i didn't have anywhere to do an oil change at the time. was a 1.6 8V engine. was quite nippy.

my sisters old cav didn't have a service in the 4+ years she had it, bar an air filter and a set of plugs i think? :lol:

pretty much the same as looking at a MK3 astra, look for rust every where, check service history,
when was the cambelt and water pump done last. don't forget it could be an 8V engine.

MK4 Astra 1.8 Sport

This is my sister's MK4 Astra. Was bought for £1200 with a new mot and 6 months tax in may of 2007. It's got a cat back stainless steel exhaust, de-restricted air box (thanks to getting a total vauxhall mag) with a green panel filter. Had been played with before it was bought as it's lost it's alloy...

1.6 L so base spec. got plans for it, have done a fair bit of welding to it. but have no money at the moment.
