Is that Steven77's old Turbo? Not unless the front has be repaired. that looks like standard cav turbo front to me ,but could be wrong which car black turbo is standard just lower What we are on a lad how was in here awhile back who had black cav turbo. She was f"£ked ,blow turbo smacked front...

Why how can it cost more in the long run. It's a simple joint that wedges its self together. Heat, pressure or vibration are needed to release it in any suitable method. Its possible you broke when you were hammering it ,does it have a clean break. but still the get the bearing done just in case. Back to the broking abs ring you can get replacement one .
