Done a paperclip test on the cavalier today and codes 21 and 65 came. 21 is throttle position sensor and 65 is carbon monoxide potentiometer does anyone know whereabouts the carbon monoxide potentiometer is?? It's a 2.0 seh engine

Alright guys sorry for the late reply it was the front arb that was causing the knocking and the engine mount the alternator belt goes through,thanks to everybody for there help!!!

A wee update I had the car on the ramps today checked everything and everything is sound apart from the drop links being a bit tight so fixed that and it was a little better, getting a knocking sound at low speed but after 30mph it's ok!!!! So am puzzled what it could be!!!! Anybody got a match lol

I've checked everything and everything is tight and put on right and the shims are in the wishbones m8 it's the drivers side that's knocking am going too get it on my mates ramps tomorrow I'll keeps youse update

Can anyone help me, I renewed all my suspension on my cavalier eg new shocks,springs,wishbones,track rod ends,drop links strut bearings etc and I've got a knocking sound coming from the drivers side!!! So I stripped it back down and rebuilt back up today and the knocking is still there but not as ba...

right guys just back from my garage and i fitted the new coil pack and ignition module and still no joy,so am thinking it could only be that the immobilser has kicked in coz i've ran out of idea's,how do u go about this?

alright guys got a new ignition module and coil pack yesterday so am going fit them today,i know i said the coil pack was fine,i'll try the new 1 just incase and i'll tell you's how i get on and stevie already tried a new relay bud,give u a buzz later!!

the crank sensor is for a c20xe m8 and its fitted properly.tested the coilpack it's fine.going to check the module tomorrow and if its not that then am totally lost.

its a circle key bud and the new parts didn't make a difference and i did a paper clip test and it came up as the crank sensor but my m8 said that would show up coz the engine ain't starting, its a n reg cav sri. Thanks for the info

alright guys i've just rebuild my redtop engine,i've had new pistonrings,bigend shells,head skimmed,pressure tested etc. Timing belt kit.water pump,new clucth,etc.anyway tried to start it and it just turns over,i ain't getting a spark or fuel.so i replaced the cranksensor and fuelpump relay and stil...
