just added bout 1000 miles to mine. went form portsmouth to glasgow n back loaded up with prezzies. was quite chuffed with the fuel consumption, got there on 1 tank of fuel. clutch now badly needs replaced though. lol

just a wee update. had a look at the air filter and its brand new so not that. im gona try changing the throttle sensor afta xmas and see what happens. i also took some advice and changed my brand of fuel, normally i fill up at asda cause its cheaper but i read someware (cant remember ware exactly) ...

fastest car ive ever driven was a ferarri 355 on one of those driving experience days. was on an old airfield as well so it was just plant the throttle an blitz it down the runway. great fun. my mate took me up to 170 on the back of his gixxer 750. scared me half to death. lol

do the revs go up then the power comes in? sure it isnt just a slipping clutch? its not the clutch mate, im gona check the air filter over the weekend, see if maybe its dirty and restricting air flow or something. clutch on a C20NE is actually quite difficult as i believe you have to drop the gearb...

no induction kit. although i havnt checked to see what kind of condition the air filter is in so i'll try that next. replaced the thermostat on sat, warms up nice n quick now. old one was stuck open as i suspected. gotta do the clutch before xmas. im told theyre not difficult so gona have a go myself.

i got my cav sri arches done last year. i bought the arches myself from beavers auto pannels and paid a bodyshop to fit them for me. cost me £200 per side but i was well pleased with the results. the website if your interested:

first thing im gona do is get rid of that steering wheel, its bloody awful. ha ha. then im gona stick a mk4 astra gear lever in it, once xmas is gone then i can get started on the usual, alloys lowered etc. wil post pics up wheneva i change something so u can let me know what u think.
