Re: CANCELED!! VBOA Rally Billing Aquadrome 14/15 July 2012

What a carry on. My pal left Glasgow at midnight last night. Arrived and pretty much had to turn around and go home.

Last year was a scorcher as well, i was burnt to a crisp by Sunday!

Re: My spectral blue Sri 16v on speedlines

Canny beat a cavvy slammed on speedlines.

Was over in N.I recently at a car show, surprising how many cavaliers you still see going over there. Even seen a belmont sri with a v6 conversion, what a note!

Hi all just wondering if aftermarket back boxs for the likes of a 1.6 , 1.8 etc.. petrol cavalier wil fit a TD.

Also are fitments the same for the hatch and saloon ?

Back in a cavvy

Randomly checking Gumtree on Sunday morn and found this for sale in my home town. Just up the road from me. 95 N reg, 1.7 isuzu td, years ticket, just gone 100k, and only two owners from new. ( first owner was my mum and dad's retired neighbour in his 80s) and a family for the past ten years. Car is...

Re: Wobble Bolts???

Not too sure on my termonology here , but just check the hub sizes mate. Sure i tried to put a set of fiat fitment wheels on my dads mitsubushi a while back and they were too small. where as vaux 4x100 went straight on.

Re: Wobble Bolts???

I had a couple of Punto gt's a while back and it was common to fit the more common pcd 100 wheels with the use of wobblies as the alfa/ fiat pcd is 98.

Dont know if it works the other way though :/

Re: good honest opinion wanted

Just think someone looking to buy an auto is more likely to be a bit older and buy something newer than a cavalier. Then again you never know.

Whack it on PH and see what happens ,can but try :thumb

Sounds like a very clean car. Dont think its worth anywhere near a grand though.

Nearer £600, auto might put a few folk off as well.

Re: Z20let astra coupe - talk to me.

Really fancy a mk4 gsi, but this one is far cleaner than any i've looked at.

Just a newer car than the cavvy, bit more refined, faster, handle better. Nice car to take a lassie out in. Birds REALLY hate cavaliers, lol!

As title troops , ive been offered a super clean astra coupe turbo for a song. its a really smart blue colour, low mileage, full recaro leather, quite a few mods, vxr turbo etc.... So sadly if all goes well cavvy will be up for sale. Just wondering if any of use have experience of these cars, common...

Dont blame you bud, cant mind the last time i seen a GSI let alone a standard one. You should bring it to Total Vauxhall day at crail. Im frantically tidying up mine for it as we speak. Whole troop of folk of migweb going, top notch banter and a night out in Edinburgh afterwards to boot, :cheers lol
