Re: The euro cav rebuild thread
I'm not keen on the mirrors but they're certainly are unique not seen them done before. As for the rest of the car, it's turned out to look quite well and has an aggressive look to it. Any plans for the engine?

Excellent effort there Dan, the car has come a long way in your ownership. Keep up the good work and get them 4x4 badges on in the right place. I have the exact measurements if you want ![Smile :)](./images/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif)

Re: Sourcing original Cav GSi backbox?
UWB underneath is sound and solid and on top is straight too and it has original arches. It is by far one of the nicest and cleanest GSi out there. For me if a MK3 Cavalier has had the arches replaced it's never the same as most people get rid of the dog leg creases and they find it very hard to lin...

Re: White Cav Turbo in Grimsby
That's a genuine turbo, I know the owners brother. It's one of the nicest examples around. It's not on any sites the lad likes to keep his business away from sites. Either he drives it or his mother. My mate saw him on the M6 not long back, they both battled it out. Not everyday you'd see 2 cav turb...

Mibby but two couler changes wish they had left it blue lol Didn't you realise this before you bought the car? Also what colour does it state on the V5? If the colour has been changed from blue to black then that'd mean the inside of the doors, engine bay etc all have to be painted for it to be don...

my dad had a mk2 130 exact same as the red saloon loved that car dont know if it was cause i was young but the thing felt rapid Your Dad's 130 would have been better then that, it'd had extra rear skirts and fog lights with a SEH engine. That's a 1.8 nevertheless still a very nice one as I've seen ...

Very nice Calibra 16v mate, I've always liked them. Grey and black are my favourite colours and momo arrows on them look class too.
Both your Cavalier GSi and Calibra 16v are a credit to you pal. Best of luck with both projects.

Re: vauxhall cavalier 4x4 turbo
The Cavalier turbo boot floor usually has a hump in the middle because of the spare alloy. When they've been leveled like that it's usually for bass boxes or amplifiers etc.

Does look nice mate but that doesn't sound quick or am I mistaken? only got to 94 mph at a quarter mile? I'm sure they can go faster than that.
They can and it could be a number of reasons why it's not a quick time.
One of which would be the driver, lol.
Re: vauxhall cavalier 4x4 turbo
Looks a half decent car. That rear arch seems to have had repairs done to it or it could bea dodgy camera but the crease line is not visible which usually means filler or replacement. I'd have a good look underneath and the skirts hide a great deal.
Best of luck with your new car.
