Well I know you's are all dying to see the cav in all its glory but well it really has been such a nice weekend so I have spent it cleaning everything up, the struts came off no problem along with the brake discs, the chisel idea worked a treat. yeah that seems my best bet, I will see how I get on tonight and over the weekend.

I take it I won't have as much trouble with the bottom ball joint? I have loosened the nut but I have next to seperate them.

no its the screw/bolt on the rear of actual track rod end, not the balljoint part.

Right I am ready for round 2 this weekend..... New discs have arrived, proper fitment this time, god knows what happened with the last set. on a positive note the company sent me a free set of black diamond predator pads as a good will gesture for sending me the wrong discs. nice one. my tool selection isn't too hot at home, just enough for the majority of jobs, I will give the chisel a job tonight, see how I get on, if not ill go out and get a grinder or something similiar. then hopefully that should be that. one other thing though, the track rod ends have popped off but the scr...

its flush with the disc mate, its the small screw that holds it in place i believe.

Brake Disc Removal

Drivers side was fine on the V6, but when I went to remove the small screw on the brake disc on the passenger side the bugger stripped, I will most likely have to drill it out, whats the best way to do it?

eventful weekend for me. Suspension hit a wall as per my other post, everything that could cause me a problem came off no problems except those track rod ends, heated them up and get them off so now waiting on new track rod ends coming. the discs i got didn't fit, no idea why, was just going to punt...
