Re: Which tyres do you rate?

thats cause you can't drive worth a fook Alan, I have seen your attempts............your best sticking with your ditch finders. its nothing to do with driving like a fanny, tyres are the only thing that keep you on the road, it costs an extra £10-15 a tyre to go from a cheap nasty ditch finder to a ...

Re: Exhaust Difference

well when I had my XE I put it on the rollers when it was completely standard, it made 156bhp. I then fitted a sportex manifold and decat, put it on the same rollers and it made 167bhp. Loved that XE, until it went bang.

oh and mines was the later coil XE with GM head.

I was thinking about this last night and realised I don't actually know the answer.

what is the difference performance wise between a stainless steel system and a mild steel system?

Re: Which tyres do you rate?

personally I would of went for P Zero's but my supertourers came with nearly new Goodyear Eagle's so won't complain, if they aren't too hot ill just run them down and replace, but I am encouraged by the reviews so here's hoping

Re: Which tyres do you rate?

Right deeky, between me and my brother we have tried out a fair few + you know our type of driving :thumb Yokohama range - A539's were a good tyre but discontinued in your size, the parada spec 2's were good in the dry, absolutely awful in the wet. Pirelli - P Zero Nero's are fantastic all rounders,...

Re: Cavalier V6 Jenvey Throttle Bodies

will do some more research into this, I can imagine a throttle bodies V6 would sound fantastic, however if its not practical I may well take the supercharged route.

I removed the Black dash from my old SRi that I scrapped, agree with gaz, take the wheel off first. don't stretch the cables for the heater control or it will ruin your day.

http://www.emeraldm3d.com/ecu/generic-t ... gines.html

what about this kit? most parts are supplied really, emerald ECU, throttle bodies, fuel rail, injectors etc. would most prob need some sort of manifold made up for the throttle bodies but hey cheaper than the Jenvey kit.
