You reckon I test the sockets the relays plug into ,,,

Tested the 2 abs relays ,resistance 85-86 =54ohms ,,,,,,,when I powered pin 30 then test lamp on 87 ,,the test bulb lit,,,,,abs code 19 ,,,,any ideas ,

Hii ,I found the problem it was a break in wiring loom ,,cavvy going gd now ,,,,,was trying to get ABS light off ,,,,bridged A-Kpins ,,,code 19 ,,,could it be relays, I have 2 4 pin relays in the black ABS box

Thanks for reply robsey, sorry for delay n getting bk to youz,was away a wee holiday ,,I cleaned alternator connections,,was ip euros they had a 120amp alternator but didn't buy it as it had the ribbed pulley ,mines is old v pulley,,,was not sure if I could swap the pulleys over,,,,,,I have a wee pr...

Any ideas ,,,,cavvy engine management light comes on when I hit the throttle hard,,but ok driving normal smooth speed ,,,I've changed ,02 sensor ,,camshaft sensor,,fuel filter ,cleaned maf sensor ,,the car feels like uts holding bk when engine management is on

Will we still be able to put e10 in my c20xe

A run 2x8oow amps and 2 subs robsey, noticed that my drivers window not working but all the rest are ok ,you reckon regulator, not long put that one in

Does anyone know the amps on a cavalier 2.0 alternator not sure if its 100amps

Got that heater in working a treat ,for a wee while I've noticed the battery light on can just barely see it ,see it a bit more when I put heater or demister on ,do you think the alternator could be on it's way out ,I've checked belt which is tight also new battery in it

I've managed to get a hold of a guy who has one for 25 ,once I get it al keep you updated, thanks for all your help ,very much appreciated

Are all the mk3 cavalier motor heaters the same

I ended up getting a new switch as you mentioned robsey, that's it fixed,.. now my heater are not working, I checked the fuse but it's ok, there was a wee squealing sound coming from heater when I put the blowers on ,now there is nothing at all ,any ideas ,new motor if so is it easy enough to replace

My brake light pedal switch is faulty, has it got to be a cavalier switch or does other ones do same job ,where can I get one from if anyone knows ,cheers

Cheers for the advice got a collar welded round the fracture got a good welder to do it ,cheers

Robsey, you know when the front exhaust manifold has been welded up and is blowing again ,could I someone to weld a 2to 3" collar round it ,its about a 1" or 2 before the flange the cracking welds,
