Re: My Cav turbo's progress thread
Sad times dan mate. Seen the car myself on saturday. Was a fine example of a cavalier. Pictures dont do it justice at at all. Hopfully we will see the progress on the cav in the near future. The time and effort you put into the cav was unreal mate. Some really great upgrades there. I might copy the ...

You can only put a private plate on a car of the same year or older. You cant put a newer plate on a car. So it must have been in storage or similar.

i had an F16 on my C25XE would never run it with the F16 again, top end is crap, your high up the RPM just cruising, if anything id say go with the F20, or stick with the F25 if you have been offered it?

Agreed on that one.
Look at some of the fords out there that have had more holes than metal. Mk1/2 Escorts ect Some of them are driving round now. They still sell for alot of money no mater what needs done .
As dan says its all about how much time effort and money your willing to put in.

Re: et38?
Id defo say no dan tbh. Then again all depends on what 40mm springs you have. Bilsteins are 40s but tyere a good bit lower than say g-max 40s
I had my turbo running momo arrows on et35 on a 50mm drop and it was fine .
You might get away with it on 18s if your running 35 profile but not with 40.

had a few sets of 18s on my cavs, none have even rubbed, even slammed, as troy says depends on the offset and the tire size, never had to remove my liners tho, poor inner wings lol
