Its the plastic pin in the middle needs the centre pulling out and unclipping the pegs on the edges

just replace for new, people replace knackered old bushes for poly and think they are the greatest, new is fine and a hell of a lot cheaper.
just replace your whole wishbones and arb bushes and odds on it will be 100% better.

problem is the steering rack is on the frame not on the firewall so trying to use vectra/mk4 astra means a rack issue

Plenty of talk of not running standard shocks its not ideal but they will still be fine, it tends to wear them out more than they run out of travel.
