if its runing right it will feel pretty dam pokey even half throttle in first and second,the gap between 2nd and 3rd not so clever but should feel lively

the standard gearbox and flywheel aim at smooth power delivery more than outright response

prefere the sallon for looks but the hatch is far more practical for cramming with stuff

i dont think the 106gti is chavvy as long as its left alone and standard! as for is it quick its going to have a good power to weight ratio compared to the cav 106 is well under a ton and 120hp,cav is 150hp but nearly 300kgs more my wifes 206gti is slower than my cav v6 despite the favourable gearin...
