Re: cavalier 8v 4x4
Right some progress is finally being made, plans have changed slightly as I have sold the b204 on and purchased a msd vectra x25xe and that is now going in instead. A 4x4 locking kit has been ordered as has the drivers side engine mount. The car has finally been lowered and the front splitter fitted...

Was chatting to him on Facebook after the feature came out. Really nice chap and gave me plenty of advise in my ongoing x25xe 4x4 project.

Re: cavalier 8v 4x4
Even with new one on it throws the Co potentiometer voltage low code. So gonna look into that think it may be icv causing that. Locking the box so 4x4 hydraulics shouldnt be a problem. The Saab reds were throwing far too much fuel in and flooding the engine but not a problem now standard stuff back ...

Re: cavalier 8v 4x4
Well reverted back to standard injectors, fpr and rail today after it deciding not to run over the weekend. Discovered timing marks on the pulleys don't line up so timed it using the old method of screwdriver down no1 plug hole and rocker cover off. Also put a new afm on it. Runs alot nicer now. Nee...

Re: central locking preoblem??? help needed asap!!
Mine was doing this the other week, first it unlocked when locked from drivers door but worked from passengers door, then unlocked when locked by either, I ended up resetting the boot lock thing, turned it so it didn't work on central locking the back the other way, after this it works as normal

Problem found and solved, around a litre if water in the ecu and plug, drained, hair dryered and wd40ed
Note to self, if you see a big puddle, turn around and find alternate route

Re: c20ne error code 19 and very poor performance
The sensor is definitely correct as I ordered it from the part number on the old one. Interesting to hear about the water thing though as it's been very wet with flash floods recently and I've had to traverse some fairly deep standing water so it's entirely possible that some water has found it's wa...

c20ne error code 19 and very poor performance
right guys need some help. the other day the engine management light came on and stayed on, also restricted my engine revs to 4.5k code read it and came back error 19 - incorrect rpm signal, so I changed the crank sensor for a genuine vauxhall item. then erased the code and fired it up. Re: replacing c20xe to saab turbo
From what I've been able to find out it's pretty straight forward, complete engine drops in with no messing, Saab wiring loom converted to plug into vauxhall loom feed, required Turbo, injector, intercooler setup properly mapped. Hardest part is which box to use, cable operated vaux units seem to wea...

Re: replacing c20xe to saab turbo
I will be doing this over the winter with my sri, so far I have a fully rebuilt b204, the td04 15t high pressure turbo the wiring loom and ecu with immobiliser removed. The hardest part I've come accross so far is getting hold of nige-p on migweb to convert the wiring loom and map the ecu, once that...
