Love this car still!

They used to get nicked all the time back in the day for the engines. My insurance has gone up £20 for the year for the MG. Some insurance companies take the mick as they dont think you will leave mid term and charge a stupid amount for the rest of the term!

Soon to be leaving my home and going to a new owner within the club that may make this car more pleasing to your eyes! Either way I loved it and loved owning it but need more power I'm gonna miss Chip phat!

As above same for me! Run it on part veg part diesel, veg oil is still on offer in Tesco's and wks out at £1 a litre! The only thing I haven't done is remove the thermostat and turn up the boost! I work in the area that the owner lives, apparently it cost £45k to do, when you get up close in places you can see the glue and it is awful! You cant buy taste!

I love my TD! Just started using vegtable oil in as its 2 x 5 litres for a tenner in Tesco, seems to run better on it too! Sits happily at around 70 for my 500 miles plus a week! Also now use it for towing my caravan as the wife won't let me put a tow bar on the 2.0 tdi Leon!

Car just passed its MOT only work it needed was both front anti roll bar drop links! £38 for the parts one side came off ok but the other I had to get my grinder out with a cutting disc on and cut it off! No advisories! very happy for a 19 year old car!

I've got a Pipercross panel filter in mine. I also removed the big standard extra but empty airfilter housing and replaced it with a cold airfeed to where the old piping would have ended up.

I use snow foam wax on it then just wash it as normal sometimes I use meguires carnauba wax. Whats a roof rag?
