Yep but only if I set it too windscreen any other time I'm having a sauna, shes garaged so not getting rained on but can get damp in garage other then that I'm stumped.

I've noticed a mild warmth to the heating yesterday when I took her for a spin.

Thermostat can't be stuck open as the pipe to the thermostat is solid then goes soft after temp rises.
How can I unblock the matrix.

Got the cavalier back up and running today. She's now all lined back up on the TDC and a new water pump fitted she now takes 40 mins to reach temperature. Due to the much better water pump, the old one had two flow holes where as this one has a hole in every fan blade so this pump really keeps the e...

Nope but the belt moved a tooth when I was trying to put the belt back in place.
So I need to some how get her back in line.
Plus the bottom notch isn't lined up with the top.

Started the strip down today of the cavalier to sort out the over heating problem. And to replace the water pump and tidy her up abit. Right well she's past another mot with only advisories on the brake pipes being slightly corroded, easy fix that is. So yeah well happy got another year with the old girl. Weird to think I've had her over a year now it's gone super quick. So as soon I have the money I'm going to start to tart her up...

Discovered the squeaking is coming from the anti roll bar rubbers that I replaced so I need to grease them up went under car and rocked her and it appears to be coming from there so next week I'm on the case of the mystery squeaks.

Well checked the cavalier today and she's not leaking from the water pump at all so no idea where the water came from no leaks any where. Might have spilt some coolant flush and didn't realise or could have just been from where she's been in storage and not used although I'm still replacing the pump...

This cavalier is looking sweet I can't wait to see the finished process.

Yep she's such a pain but at least I still have the Astra to get me around which is lucky.

Well discovered today whilst trying to change the water to coolant that I have a major leak coming from the water pump and that the bearings have gone so I've got to replace the whole lot.
So she's back in the garage waiting to be fixed again.

Just dont use normal grease. I have the clear grease can't remember it's name but it's in a tub with a red top. I'm going to try that. Then if I can, sort out a few other niggling bits like the leaky sunroof and what not. Think it's a blocked pipe. You need rubber grease if you're putting it on bus...

Well started her up this morning and took her for a spin to the petrol garage. And the whining has gone now. I didn't put any grease on it. Just wd40 so it must be what it needs.
Also it's had all new bushes.
