hi im having a problem with my battery light staying on too after having replaced the battery and the alternator but i was wondering where this charging relay is as id like to try that too and see if it cures my battery light problem....

Thanks a lot mate! does the belt go through the bracket off the wing for the power steering pump/engine mount or run underneath it from the bottom pulley to the power steering pump??

yeh i do like the wheels i have on now,just like my wheels to fill the arches a bit more! what size are the slabs and fan blades? are they both 15's ?? cant wait to get it looking thw way i want to with the subtle mods mentioned as above!

Thanks for the comments! Wont be doing anything too serious to it...probably a nice set of slabs or fan blades in black then lower it slightly as its a bit wavey on the motorway! Maybe just put a nice backbox on it and a general tidy up for now.

Yeh no probs gaz i will do! Bit peed off tbh as i paid 36 quid for a 2nd hand part off the net and seen some new old stock on ebay for 15 quid but hey ho....just my lick the one i baught wont work or it will just be the connector on the unit thats faulty and im too late to get a refund for the part ...

Ok thats great then mate thanks a lot! I will have it on the ramp tomorrow anyway as new exhaust is getting fitted so i will check the wiring out when im underneath before i take the tank off to look at the sender unit.

oh.....lol i thought i had an external fuel pump on the backl of the tank but that must be the filter then.

Baught my cavi last month and first time i turned it on the guage registered half a tank.ever since then the guage hasnt worked at all or only moved up into the red mark even on a when a full tank! Sender unit cap with 8 or 10 nuts with hose connection and 2 pin plug is on top of tank and accessible...

Only way i can seem to get my cd player to light up and come on is by moving the live for cd player to re/blue wire on top left of power plug as you face it with locking pin at too also.... Is this right as it doesnt come on with any other wire thats supposed to be marked as switched ignition live.....

Okay....took out the cd player this morning to check the wiring harness on the cd player and the loom leading into dash for stereo and speakers etc...couldnt physically see any broken wires or anything that may be causing cd player to be switching on and off like it has! I reffered to a post on here...

Ok i will check my battery connections and check the connections on the clocks. I am going to put an additional earth from the gearbox housing to the chasis as welk as i couldnt see one when i was underneath last weekend so surely that woyld help some.
