along time ago in a galaxy far far away on my speedo of my tuned 8v runnin 17inc wheels the clocks read 140 then red lined another 2 thousand rpm later....was that do-abal or were the clocks miss readin ,but christ it didnt feel like they were ,nearly lost control of me bowls....dont think cavs were...

sadly yes it really is that bad. Most of the rear quarter panels are made of filler, behind the black plastic sill covers there is just 1 big space on both sides underneath is not much better. uuummm howz about meetin at sumwhere like billing aqua drome in the queys,could av a bit to eat ,and they,v got boats and stuff to take sum pix or choose a centrl location once we no whos up for cumin,im not that fussed im pretty flexibal aswell,i can touch my toes

my old man had this exact prob on his vecy v6,but he had 2 probs 1,misfire and em light on when it happens--turned out to be a censor cant rember what? 2, sticky throtal--my fault :( i re used a split gasket for the throtal body,changed it and it sorted it :D hav u don the paper clip test for the EM...

got the cav into my work 2day and went over it and its a straight motor,the only things iv gotta do is ,fit new engine,abs censors,wheel arch and the clutch pedal is extremly stiff so gota sort that and also i finished off the digi dash and i think it looks real smart oh and tick counter is what my ...

il stick up a how 2 soon,the wireing guid i got was a tiny bit off[that must be a difo in age these clocks came out an 85 astra?]and im guna put the digi dash into the mk3 cav dash 2moz at work[gotta cut and glu stuff :D ] but everything works and im rollin on 15z and the speedo seems to be bang on ...

ok bud as ask on your wanted thread id do all the above stuff get an cold air feed to the air box,cut the air box open or drill it then a kn element or go 4 carbs ;) tubalur manifold,defo in mild steel as the stainless crack to easy straight threw pipe instead of cat[but keep cat for mot] then a nic...

dont put a 2.0l head on a 1.8,it will lower compression,you wanna get a c20seh blok,1.8 head,and a wild cam and vernier pully that would rev like nuts and them old 8v'z can easily take sum red lining

dose it make much difference if u blank that valve thing or r there a loaaaad more differences???betwwen eco and xe,i no that the internals are worlds apart but how hard is it to c 150 from the eco without spendin to much???is it doabal
