Re: how much to change 1x rear arch
Well I had a quote of £250 which included sorting out some welding behind the rear bumper, so may go ahead with it.

cav gsi mpg
I can average 37mpg on a run but only 26mpg town driving, mainly stop starting, does this sound about right? The car has been chipped, power cap and decatted exhaust.
Thanks

Re: gsi goes to stall when 1st started
Well I have changed the cts and hasnt made much difference, the only difference its made is leaving a nice blister on the end of my thumb (stupid manifold) next thing to try is plugs.

how much to change 1x rear arch
Ive had a price of £450 - £500 to cut out arch and rust behind rear bumper, plate all corroded areas and seal, prep and paint, does this sound about right? Ive also had a quote of £900 just to sort out the arch from a bodyshop but thats way too expensive.

Here is my new car, had it for a few weeks now, very nice car, got lots of plans for it, most of it is body work, although not that much, probably refurbish original wheels and stick them on and lower it 40mm, get rid of all rust and underseal, angel eyes, front splitter. http://i591.photobucket.com...
