Could someone talk me through replacing the oil cooler on a 1.7td mines leaking and need to change it. Looks like there in only one bolt holding it on and there thred holding the oil filter on does that need to be removed too. Not had ago yet ! ANY TIP ECT HELP !! I don't seem to have any power to the the wing mirror switch as the little light is not on and my mirrors wont move. I have checked the fuses and they seem fine. Any suggestion where to look next ?

Is your breather clear on your fuel tank ? I know my lawn mower stopped because of this .. If air cant get in fuel wont come out ....

they have roughly the same engine lol !

Hi !!! Does anyone know where the earth to the cigarette lighter goes to or is located. I had a small issue when pumping my tyre up and has shorted it out loads of bits. Now my fuel gauge and my temperature gauge wont work. The battery warning light is on but is charging. Guessing is earth connectio...

I had a small accident with my drive shaft breaking. Anyway i ended up having to replace the ABS sensor because it got broke.

Anyway i have put the new ABS sensor on but i still have the ABS light on. Is there a way of resetting the system ..

Hi all I have just put a refurbished leg on my Cavalier and I have noticed a little squeak now as I'm going along the road. I think the noise is coming from where the rubber on the very top of the suspension leg contact the top of the bodywork. Should this have a little lube in there ?? Many Thanks ...

Turns out if you have ABS you need the whole hub £75.00 from local spares and the £30.00 on ebay ... i think i might walk for a few days.

What sort of job is it to change a rear wheel bearing Is it the whole hub which needs changing or is it just the bearing . Any pointers would be a help. O asked for the bearing at my local parts plsce and they had trouble finding it. Has anyone got a picture or a link to one . Cheers Ryan

Mines bog standard done 235000 miles and still shines like a new penny. Keep the oil clean and it wont let you down. I have had seven cars and this cav is still me first car ive owned lol !!
