Hi guys thanks for the reply, i fitted a new exhaust manufold gasked around a year or 2 ago. Plus i checked exhaust for leaks and found nothing at all :(

It says in the add that there out of Diplomat or CDX,just asked and guy said he took them out a GSI.So what your saying is that if the bench seat has 2 pull straps to release it then they wont fit?I have no idea lol.

my cav is a hatch and the seats are from a saloon,my cav has the 2 sections of the bench seat and the leather one is a 1 piece bench seat.My cav has 2 brackets per seat with removable pins,the leather one from the saloon has a pull cord im told???

Right part came 2 days ago,fitted it within 2 mins :) started the car and went for a drive was great.Next day went out 2 times in it and no problem so fingers crossed its all sorted,will keep eye on it for next few weeks and let you know how i get on.Thanks again all for the help :)

Just check code 15 and it points to Coolant temperature – voltage high thanks to this forum and you guys for the help my cav will be all sorted hopefully once the sensor comes,great forum and thanks again for the help :)

Right i did the paper clip test and it came out with only 1 code,it flashed once then pause then flashed 5 times so to me thats code 15

Right i clean the throttle out every year or when i remember,it is injection and is flooding as plugs are covered in fuel and i can smell it.The map sensor has never been changed while i had the car,and the paper clip test sounds like a plan:) but where is the diagnostic plug?Also on the facebook gr...

The window switch lights should go out after some time,i had this same problem years back took me ages to find the problem.What i found was that when i took out the drivers seat and lifted the carpet there was 2 wires that had rotted so i stuck in a new part of wire and all was fixed :) so worth a l...
