Another oil leak. Gsi when does it stop

Hi all so after having bad luck with 3 sumps my 4th one was good. Did everything spot on. I drove the car and now she leaking oil again but not from the sump. I seams is comb from the oil filter hosing. Now someone said there are 2 nuts tat need tightening. I've had someone take a look at fist they ...

Cav gsi high idle

Hi all. My gsi is reving bang on 1000. I have changed Icv Temp sensor Lambda sensor changed I have checked Air leaks and all connectors on sensors. I have also done the paper clip test which shows no faults. Could I please have some ideas what else to check please or if anyone lives in the Middlesex...

ive just rang vauxhall for shorter bolts there saying all they do is 30 or 22 or 13. , :scratch

many thanks for the advise. so just to confirm is it just the baffle plate with the rubber seal i need and shorter bolts and no other gaskets.

Also I've been told that if I use the new baffle plate it only has one rubber seal on it. That's all I need no other gaskets butto change the bots to 20 mm. Do I still need to use the sealant and could some please give me te torque number settings for the wrench please

Oil sump change nd gasket help needed

Hi all I'm changing my sump as its got a crack. I've got a new sump but I need advise on the best way to do this and have no more leaks. So far I've been told to get a baffle plate gasket from vauxhall for a c20ne 8 valve engine nd vauxhall sump sealant. Can anyone please shed more light thanks

Thanks guys, I think your right maybe I should put it away, I'll take some nice photos daytime, the mudflaps make it look so much better, I got the heat shield so thanks for the advs deeksin. I will put it once the cars serviced

Just a quick update, just finished the install today. All the speakers were torn so I treated my self. I purchased jl component speakers for the front and focal component speakers for the rear. Had to do a few mods for the fronts to fit as I wanted all the speakers to fit under the original covers. ...

Many many thanks for the positive feedbacks. I'm loving being back in a GSI. Deeks GSI is stunning and a lot of passion and work has been put in. Ive just got mine and have a lot more work to put in.
