Quick update...
All the welding has been done and the car is being dropped off tonight.
my mate that did the welding has took around 40 pics of the work so once i get them i'll post them up.

Hi,
Ive got the same mower and had the same issue.
You need to buy a carb refurb kit as it the rubber gasket in the carb thats casuing the issue.
Takes about ten mins to sort.

Just a little update. I now have all the interior sorted. Have all the black plastics and the leather as well as a black dash. I have also purchased a Saab Turbo donor car for the engine etc. The car goes of to be welded on Sat morning so I can sort out the garage ready for the C20 XE to be removed ...
