Re: gsi heated rear window

Have you checked the rear screen to ensure all the tracks are intact, and that the wires either side are connected? maybe it's had a rear screen in the past and they didn't connect them back up? Another thing you can do if you have a test metre is check the voltage going across the rear screen with...

Re: surge arrestor relay

Ok if tech1 is no use, next thing I would do is get a multimeter out and test all the wires for any brakes or weak bits and check the plugs for dirty conectors. Then the only thing I can think of after doing thay is start swapping parts over, but that could get expensive. Greig thats exactly what i...

7.9 seconds and what engine is that?
my last car did 0-60 in 4.95 seconds and 1/4 mile in 13.4 seconds and produced 320 bhp (all proven nissan 200sx) so my old gsi2000 feels like a slugen though its a proven 183 bhp :cry

Re: clunking driveshaft

its not hard to change drive shafts, pretty much any novice could manage it.this thred reminds me of a 1.6 cavalier my mate had years ago,it had done 200k miles and had a clicking cv joint with a split gaitor for about a year any way one day he wheel spinned it out of a junction like he always did an...

Re: Lowering on 17's

if you want it mega low then use 60mm cavalier front springs an nova 60mm rear springs because most cavalier 60mm lower dspring kits leave the rear sitting high. as for cutting springs dont bother because the rear springs are a pig tail design so they wont fit back in if you cut them, cutting springs...
