If you get an opportunity to get stuff off a scrapper and want the small stuff. Go for the central locking ECU and the Engine management ECU, Electric window motors and electric window switch panel. You might not need them but if you do youve got them handy and they dont take up much room. Thank's ...

I am surprised i would have thought with all that it would pass. That makes two of us then! Yer im well miffed about it after all the stuff ive replaced i didn't expect it to fail on a engine related issue. When its done you will notice a difference. Your right :D Can't believe the diference having a new clutch an a smooth box has made to the cav. It has a much more positive drive just wish i'd sorted it sooner just got to get a new inlet gasket an have a go at fitting it but the weather is crap today...

Just an update on my cav. Not having much luck at the mo. The gearbox ive brought last month is the wrong one! I've got a f18 when i needed a f16 and my local motor factors have supplied the wrong clutch too. Mine has the earlier clutch [90-92] not the later type [92-95] :wall Hopefully im gunna hav...

Thank' s for everone's comments. Will have to keep an eye out for a good dashboard at the scrappy. My m8 is a vauxhall fan an he said it's a nightmare job an not to attempt it. Theres about 2 sets, some with tyres some without, come pick yourself a set there are centre caps, they arnt that mint but they are cheap, she lives 5/10mins off the end of the m57, its really easy to find.
