Excellent info as usual Robsey, cheers!
I wonder what triggers the yellow low level fuel light and then the red light?

Re: 1994 Saloon Cav
Rather nicely done. So no standard ECU's and moved over to a the link module? Would love to know more about the wiring side of it Cavalier ECU from the 2.0 8v and 8v engine loom all gone out of the car. The link ecu sits where the standard ecu is to the right of your feet at pedals in behind the tr...

Re: 1994 Saloon Cav
It did and it didn't... (Eye catch the power steering). I saw the powered rack still fitted with it's rigid pipework, but totally failed to notice the missing reservoir. Inside the glove-box? A popular place to move the ABS unit if it isn't totally deleted. A good meaty battery for the Cavalier - t...

Re: 1994 Saloon Cav
Welcome back fella - :wave Without putting a morose tint on things, any one of us could have gone to the Vauxhall showground in the sky before now, but I am sure just like me, you would say " You don't get rid of me that easily". :P I do like that shade of metallic red - very reminiscent ...

Hi all, I am for doing the B204 conversion to my cavalier. I bought a automatic car with good history as i knew then it was messed or rallied about in. But the problem is im having a real hard time finding a F28 gearbox which is COMPLETE. As in with the gear linkage attached to the box and then the ...

Re: 1994 Saloon Cav
Hi all. Sorry for no updates on this thread. Been flat out with work etc ever since and just never really sat down to upload anything else to this thread since. Well the cav passed the MOT first time! Her first MOT since 2009. The MOT tester was very impressed with her condition underneath etc, said...

Re: 1994 Saloon Cav
Thanks lads. The stage 3 buff really awakened the true colour of her again. There seems to be a bit of glitter in the colour when the sun is out.. I took the rubber floor matts out to give them a clean and theres Vauxhall badges stamped on them? Ive never seen these before just the rare carpet vauxh...

Re: 1994 Saloon Cav
10/4/21 Update Now that the 17" Momo Arrows have their new tyres on, all that was needed was a set of fresh centre caps to finish them off. So got these put on earlier and slicked the tyres awaiting the cav which is getting a full stage polish by a mate at this moment. https://i.ibb.co/MMXXgmL/...

Re: 1994 Saloon Cav
Hi lads. Got the Arrows back today, they turned out awesome. Like brand new again. Just waiting on my 205/40/17 Toyo Proxes tyres coming in and then i got vauxhall centre cap badges to go on also. The sunroof bubble and front wind deflectors landed in the post also which was a nice surprise also. ht...

C20NE 8v to C20XE 16v
Hi all, Ive been doing a bit of reading on the C20NE and C20XE engines. The blocks are meant to be the same. For power would i be better off using my low mileage C20NE block and fitting a redtop head to it? Are the looms different? The ECUs will be different im sure. Then XE intake manifold. Gearbox...

Re: Cavalier saab conversation help needed
The B204 engine that comes with the saab box FM55-501 uses cable and would be a good strong box also easier to fit. Should all go strsight in cav from what ive read before.

Re: 1994 Saloon Cav
Thanks lads!
Ah im not sure what to do. The V6 lump is really good in my opinion. Really makes a cavalier shift AND its n/a
I would however want to keep the 4 studs. I shall see. If Ian wants to sell me his V6 hatch it would be a great swap indeed as all is there needed to do it.

1994 Saloon Cav
Hi all, Im back again. Well it didnt take long for me to get my hands on another cavalier. Having sold my V6 cav back in August last year, i actually did regret it due to the spec, engine and overall condition it was in and me and dad both said never get one like it again now. Months went past anywa...
