Wish I had took pics before I started, will need to make a start on inside the car soon as there's a nest in the drivers seat and no other interior at all. Picked up some Vectra B half leather today though so that should be a good start if it fits

Still a huge amount to remove but slowly it's getting there. Just won a gsi grill on eBay, should be much better as mines is currently cable tied on. Still looking for a headlining if anyone has one?

Got the car insured yesterday and started to work on the bodywork, started with a Stanley scraper and to my surprise it started to come off revealing very fresh flame red paintwork, barely any rust at all even bottom of doors are rust free!

Finally got the pics uploaded from when it was advertised, the pics make the paintwork look ok, when in reality it was beyond a joke! At least 50 runs per panel, everything was rollered or painted with brushes! Reactions everywhere.

Thanks for the advice, I had heard about shims needing done but didn't know what was involved? Can't seem to find any advise on it either

That sucks! Can u not try taking them back? I went back to eurocarparts a month after buying suspension parts and they didn't even question it, I was determined they wouldn't refund it, they may even let u replace them instead of a refund

Yeah it stays on with ignition for about 10-20 seconds then goes out, if u do the glow plugs 3 times before trying to start it fires straight up. Also it's the Isuzu td engine Got the bonnet open today, replaced the cracked header tank and filled it up with fresh antifreeze and left it running for 3...
