Sorry Colin1 if I didn't make myself clear......they sound like something is loose i.e. The heat shield is rattling on the down pipe when the engine increases its revs.

I have a really annoying problem with two of my cars,the CDX and the later 16v SRi,they have both developed noisy heat shields,under revs they vibrate because they look like they have come loose.Im sure I'm not alone with this problem and was wondering if anyone knew of a cheap quick fix?

It was the fuse,I took it out,it hadn't blown,left a couple of minutes then put it back and the central locking worked fine.

First time it has happened,always dead lock it and yes tried passenger and boot lock,they lock individually.

Went to VBOA at Luton today,on way back stopped at Sainsburys,locked car in normal way only to realise drivers door locked but central locking not working,first time this has happened and was fine earlier in the day.
Any ideas guys?
