Hi folks.
Had my 1994 2.0i 8v cat about three and a half years. Bought for £300. Have done the head gasket. Clutch. Front brakes and fitted astra wheels. It's got 143k on the clock and still pulls like a train whilst returning 450 miles plus to a tank. How do i post pics from my phone here ?

Turns out to be a blocked rear silencer. All the wadding had tried to escape and had blocked the tail pipe. Still at least the car got a thorough going over. Thanks for the reply.

Loss of power won't rev over 4k rpm under load
Hi guys. New to the forum. 1994 2.0 8v cat saloon. It developed a fault a week ago. Was giving it the berries on a dual carriageway and got to 4000 rpm in 3rd gear and there was a splutter and now have loss of power and restricted rpm. No eml light is on. Have checked plugs, leads, maf, temp senders...
