Crisis solved. Just bought a second hand one on eBay that was posted this morning.

Can anyone help with this folks? I really am struggling to find a new part. Alternatively can the existing sensor be repaired? I doubt it but any suggestions are welcome!

Does anyone know where I can buy an oil level sensor for my mk3 cav? I can't find anything for sale on line anywhere. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

Good to hear that other gsi's are the same and it'll save my wallet a few quid too. I'll take a closer look at the fuse box and the bulbs. Do you still have your gsi's?
