The single grey-green is for the bonnet light. Connection to ground is made via a short brown cable which is screwed to the bonnet near the light.

To avoid rust holes you have to remove the battery tray. There will be lots of rust underneath. And if you're a lucky guy you can see this rust also from the underside of the wheelhouse. :?

Refix it with some set/rivet nuts and screws.

 :( The CDX is paused. I bought a V6 in 2018, which shall start this year. So the CDX will be made after this. But I will not post any date. ;) P.S. I bought a lot of new parts. You don't know if you need some. Rear quarter outer panels, inner panels, end panels (I think in the meantime I got 4...

Re: Factory Production Option Codes - Discussion Thread.

The VIN plate on UK built cars do not contain an On Board Computer number coding. Okay, that is correct. I missed that. And I notice that a lot more POC codes are listed on the painted factory option plate on UK built cars. That is also correct. On Antwerp and Rüsselsheim cars there are just a few ...

Small mistake "The Final 4 digit Code on the bottom row refers to fuel computer information." The code for fuel computer is just 2 or 3 digits. ;) XQ5 Additional equipment for the Netherlands W6M for trims up to 1993 is also for authority vehicles. Brown cloth for both codes the difference...

For the side skirts you will also have to drill holes into the sills and install set rivets for the clips.

There is no special thermo switch for the generator fan. There is only a special thermo switch at the radiator with brown and brown-yellow wires which triggers the second cooling stage including the generator fan.

Heated windscreen nozzles :o Due to my lack of knowledge I had no Idea there was such a thing! Was this an option for the vectra-a's ? Make your mind up guys, can it, or can't it do full closure? :?: Maybe only via the key in the lock. All can do full closure. If it was a control module of a Vectra then only via key, from Omega via key or remote. But the Vectra control module can be reprogrammed to Omega via Tech 2 and then it wil...

Radio types depend on the country. In Germany you got the choice of Grundig M101/SC303, Blaupunkt SC202/CD300 or Philips SC804 (with or without CD changer control). Except of the M101 they were used throughout the whole time of sale. My Vectra A from the Netherlands was equipped with DC6xx (don't re...

Re: LS 1.8i Traction Control Upgrades

For installation of Vectra B ABS be aware that they used 4 channel ABS with electronic brake distribution. In Cavalier/Calibra only 3 way ABS is installed. That means that just one brake line goes to the rear wheel brakes and you have pressure valves at the rear brakes. With 4 channel system no valv...

These are so called "design wheels". Steel wheels with spokes where you can fit covers which looks like alloy wheels.
Also available on different Vauxhall/Opel models.

If someone is able to use an FTP program then he can also do this with webhosting. You also need no website as frontend, just the webspace for saving the files. Not more differences between this and photobucket or any other provider for filehosting.

This is the result of a wet isolating mat at the outside of the bulkhead. The mat is not really necessary and for rust reasons it's better to rip it off.

Why not using normal webspace? Trustworthy provider 4 € the month for 50 GB. No ads, no idiots, no problems.
I use my webspace for backups of my PC as well.

Edit: for 20 € month you'll get unlimited webspace and a lot of different other stuff for really webhosting. ;)
