when i had my cavalier i used to take it off the road for the winter with a pretty strict routine first id change all fluids and give it a good wash which included the underside of the car making sure i got all the dirt from in the arches ect then a good 2 coat waxing for the paintwork then she went...

id join the club just for some stickers and a keyring and £10 _ £15 sounds about right too, if there are other discounts then thats a bonus

if its real cold like it was this morning ill go out 10 mins before and start the car, get out and lock it with a spare key and come indoors for a cuppa , by the time iv finished my tea the car is warm and defrosted
