I've been postin this all over about cam sensors and thought you might like to know as well - get a decent one not a cheap (£12 ish) after-market job. I had to change mine twice because the cheap brand new one just wasn't up to the job!! I recommend vaux-world website for a cheap genuine Siemens one.

If it is the cam sensor you might want to ensure you buy a quality part (ideally a genuine Siemens) as I've just changed mine twice because first time I bought a cheap after-market part off ebay and it cured nothing, but in gettting and fitting a siemens all is well again. I found a £20 Siemens sens...

Thanks Gaz. I had a go, struggled to get it loose and gave up but the codes seemed to sort themselves out at a similar time so maybe it did the trick. As for my cam sensor fault; I was going to take it to a great car elec guy I know and he asked whether I'd replaced the sensor for a £12 one off ebay...

Thanks for the input guys... the strange thing I've got tho is that 2 of the fault codes that remain are from running the engine with 2 air sensors disconnected when messin about with it - as these were fine when I took them off I wouldn't have thought they'd be faulting now, no tboth of them anyway...

Hi Folks, I don't really like to do this without having put anything into the forum yet myself but I'm desperate to get on top of this (I'll have to make up for it after).
