yeah agreed noise has dropped dramatically the car is now more cavvy less chavvy after driving it for a about 500miles i have noticed that very low end torque has dropped and mid to high end torque has raised also after doing the cat and lambda i do about 35mpg average instead of the 25mpg average i...

when i bought the cav the guy before me had butchered it a little (dodgy air filter,decat etc) because of this i haven't been able to tell the difference between standard and modded to compare performance after fitting a cat to the car for the mot i must say DON'T DO IT IN THE FIRST PLACE i have fit...

on the rover forum i was part of there was only about 5 people in the southwest section that posted but i knew for a fact that at least other 5 people only read what was going on the first time i attempted to arrange a meet in the local services will filled it so there must have been more than that ...

sorry to hyjack this thread but my redtop sri hatch only gets just above the blue on the way to work takes about 5-10 mins to get just above cold and stays there for the whole trip about 12miles (30/40/nation speed limit) unless i get stuck in traffic then it travels up abit but drops back down when...

na mate a HOT car is more likey to pass emissions not anything to doing with how long its been sat i know and trust the guy that done my mot (has a mk11 cav with 20xe ;) and an astra gsi ) he said because the redtop engines take a lifetime to get HOT there a swine for emission tests

Well i ended up parting with more beer tokens and got a new lambda put for another test and it passed 0.18 co at 2550 and 0.14 co at idle hc was something like 195 and lambda 1.0098

i went to look at a spares or repair laser like yours when i had my mk2 escort wanted the engine, box, shocks wheels and a few other things but when i got there it was in 2 good a condition to break

extremely late reply from me but the 620ti's come with a water cooled gt25 as standard 197bhp and 182ftlb torque but the bit that makes it quite good is the torsen diff that was also standard and the huge brakes all that from a car that your granddad would be proud to own just a shame about the reli...

good i thought it might be as i have had an engine management light on since i have owned the car 2 faults the crack sensor and the lambda but i didn't want to post that so i didn't get the typical forum reply "Try that first" i was hoping for someone to say lambda before i spend out the b...

took the sri for a mot on the weekend and it fail on rear bearing and emissions i have today removed my knuckles trying to sort the problems and after fitting a cat and the rear bearings today took it for a retest and the emissions are still sky high co 4.30 max is meant to be .30 so something must ...
