Re: Hi everybody!

Welcome along Hugh, there are still some nice Cavaliers around but the main enemy is rust so have a good look around any potential purchase very carefully. Places to look are: Rear spring seats Inner sills Floors Rear wheel arches especially if the paint looks new if you can get the door sill covers...

Re: Just spotted what looks like old CD sitting in a VX deal

I noticed Vauxhall have restarted their 'scrappage' deals again. I wonder how many older VXs might disappear in part exchange deals... I reckon there will be a few unfortunately, I was dead against it the last time after i heard of lots of good stuff going for scrap. I did hear though that some dea...

Re: Mike and James' 2.0 8v Diplomat

Looking spot on there, really has made a difference. The paintwork doesnt look too bad for a 22 year old car (ive seen plenty worse). I had the same problem with my old saloon rear speakers. I also had another interesting problem in that there was a rattling from the rear of the car, turned out to b...

Re: New Website

It all looks good but is going to take a little getting used to. The only thing I find annoying is every time you go to another page the 'welcome' pop up comes up on the right hand side of the screen. I have tried clicking on the five minute button and closing it with the cross but still it comes up...

If you need a hand with the VBOA application give me a shout, its well worth doing and a lot of people respect a club more once its part of the VBOA so membership will possibly grow!

There is a one time fee to join the vboa, usually no more than 20 quid. All the criteria is on the vboa website and this club would qualify.
