hi to all :wave got tha cavy out for a run today been a while sitting in a (heated) warehouse :no all seems ok started 1st time , had a run down motorways ect to get the juices flowing proper, noticed my indicator to turn right ticking to fast??? :scratch checked all bulbs ect all working fine also ...

nice :thumb well i think i use the stick on foil stuff just in the sections that are flat leaving th frame exposed, i think you idea to put the old liner back may not work coz surley when it rains it will go soggy :? duno if i got ya right there :scratch cheers tho i keep posted and get some pics in...

all done now used a grinder to take heads off.... :lol: got new bonnet installed all is well :thumb cheers next question? i removed under bonnet cover as bonnet was fully stripped and resprayed both sides, had some astra gsi vents added with the relevant cut outs to be functional..... is it worth ge...

mmmm well was hopeing to keep original bonnet, i see the logic tho, guess i have to cut in to it. poor design cant believe the rear nut just came away and is not held properly. a simple job turned nitemare :wall

cheers for tips, i still cant get some bolts off tho :wall the bolt and head behind are spinning and i cant get a hacksaw in the gap :wall im damageing my original bonnet in the process

i duno how to get round this trouble

anyone got a ideas

hi :wave need to get bonnet swapped over on cav as got new one, i got issues with bolts already rear nut come away and whole thing spinning cant brace rear nut as access is tiny for tools :scratch ok so could cut them away ..... but what can i replace with? what size are the actual bolts ? what abou...

cheers all for help and tips... :thumb got a knackered idle control valve, cleaned all the breather pipes up and de-coked idle valve for now , still not 100% but better for now next challenge cost of new icv £130 + vat vaux dealer :shock: or ebay £100! :shock: cavs off the road for now . using pedal...

ok cheers for tips :thumb i just put new oem ht leads on last month, i check them tomorrow make sure there fitted properly, and i get a look at the mounts aswell . fuel consumption has been pretty bad had £20 gone in 4 days only been to work and back average 10 mile a day :scratch i will say tho the...

hi :wave anyone got any advise? on idle the cavs vibrating through the streering and floor, its a kinda juddering on idle when stationary, its hard to explain but when i stop the car is not smooth inside its all shakeing slightley :? i was wondering if engine mounts may cause this if tired? cheers :...
