Thanks envoy. Is sillicone hoses ok for replacing all these or should I try and find rubber hoses. If sillicone is good and can be used without problems I'll go with 5mm so it's tight. Was thinking of using zip ties to give extra support.

Full set of break lines and fuel lines

On my mot I had advisories for all break lines and fuel lines slightly corroded. Just wanted to know if anyone has had this work done on a hatch back and what was the cost? They was mentioned when my hub bearing was done so I'm guessing they will need doing before next MOT.

Had it done yesterday. Was the rear o/s they called late and said could I bring it in. They took ages so guessing something was fooked. The garage cleaned out both rear break drums too cos they was sticking the odd time and rubbing. It cost 117 for the hub replacement. That's the price it was everyw...

im gonna get a bosch coolant temp sensor. I still have surges when started from hot. I bought a cheap crap one so I guess ill get a proper one for next week. sure mine is over fueling too. shes still running good since rebuild :)

there is 2 types mate. one type has a lip at the bottom that hug/go under the head lamps and they are pre facelift ones. the facelift ones just rest on the headlamps. the pre facelift ones fit facelift headlamps but not 100% but still look cool as fook. ive got a set of genuine vauxhall pre facelift...

yeah its about 92c and thanks mate. its strange to drive it with no shaking or anything. everyone I went to with the shaking said oh it will do that its a 8valve.. they was all talking shit. its not shaking hardly at all. its great. the cost to get the shaking gone and the hot start problem is worth...

it probably hasn't been running right for a long time. my temp as long as I can remember has always stayed at just above 90c unless im in traffic for ages then it goes to 100c then fan kicks in but if I drive wile its at 100c it will cool to just above 90c. now its back it hangs about at 95-97c just...

lol that's what my missis said. its not often people appreciate a cavalier mk3 most people just pull them down. I hate that so when someone likes mine its a good feeling but today wasn't. like you said it was strange.
