Sump area all looks dry, anyone ever took out an auto box? Like to know if it's do able at home.

It's engine oil, so that means the auto box has to come out. Is this a garage job or can it be done at home? Thank you for any advice given.

I'm getting a bit concerned about this rubber bung as it is dripping oil, appears to be engine oil and when I remove the rubber bung, which I have done twice now it is full of oil. Engine oil level hasn't dropped any considerable amount that I am aware of but garage floor showing signs of oil leak. ...

Rubber bung under auto gearbox

Can anyone tell me what the rubber bung is for under the automatic gearbox? pulled mine out today and it was oily, seemed like engine oil, washed it and put it back in, thought maybe for inspection purposes!!!

Gdansk was beautiful, only shops were empty a reminder of communisim even though it was long gone in 2005, however the wedding goes on for 2 days, loads of neat vodka.
