Re: 1 Year + 16,000miles:

Just had one side welded up on mine for £60 by a mobile welder, as he came to my place i was able to remove the suspension parts that were in the way myself, which probably saved me a few quid.

Re: Fog lamp changes at "Facelift"?

I made the mistake of buying pre facelift fog lights for my facelift bumper, thinking they were all the same, but there is a differance, they are bigger! and you have to cut larger than whats marked out on the back of the bumper skin. I think they still look good though and if anything probably give...

Have a look at the bulkhead seams, mine has been leaking from here and it took me ages to figure out where it was coming in. just look for anything with a rusty looking stain.

whats the best way to remove door pins

as titled, got some new door pins today but the front hinge pins are awkward to get to, so anyone got a top tip. I changed the doors many yrs ago so I've had them out before but can't remember what I used to get them out.

Re: spring seat welded up

Nice solid metal, did he repair behind the spring cup? also, looks like there is a crack a little further down the leg (edge of the cup). the metal behind the seat was still solid, it kind of looks worse in the picture, there was just a little surface rust there, the rest of the chassis leg is all ...

Re: Help with heater blower

All I can say is that when I've had blower issues over the yrs its always been the resistor that's been the problem, scrap yards where I've got mine from, cost me a fiver! Sorry can't help more than that I'm afraid

Re: Help with heater blower

High chance it'll be the big resistor thing that sits on top of the blower motor, all you can do is replace it and see if it works.
