check the panel sealant isn't letting water through, I have a bit of a leak under the dash in the top left hand corner through the sealant.

Thanks very much for all the info, I want to get the head back on this weekend, I asked about doing it warm or cold because i still need to get a cam belt kit, as its a done cold, i can at least get it tightened up..... I'm sure I did a head gasket on a 1.3 mk1 astra yrs ago where the last tighten u...

tightening head bolts 1.8c nz

Just a quick one, does the car have to be at running temp to do a final tightening down of the head bolts on a 1.8, or are all the stages done when the engine is cold?

People who drive around on narrow country lanes like the're in a rally, thinking that there'll be nothing around the next blind bend...ie this weekend.....OldTwat in a BMW, nearly had a head on!!! good job i was only doing about 15mph he must have been doing 40ish.....he didn't half get a mouth full...

Had my cylinder head skimmed the other day and the company that did it also supplied me with a gasket set, but there are a few gaskets that i'm unsure where they go. New trek film gets a thumbs up.

Saw the New Star Trek film last night in 3D Imax....I thought it was fantastic, much better than the last one in my opinion! Benedict Cumberbatch makes a great baddie and steals the show. There's also some good stuff for the hardened trek fans to spot too. Loved it from start to finish. Anyone else ...
