Re: 8v 1.8 rocker cover gasket problem.

Many thanks guys! I think i may have used to much sealant, and there was one or two spects left from the old gasket that i couldn't remove but you couldn't feel them, i will get a vauxhall one tomorrow. Thanks again!

8v 1.8 rocker cover gasket problem.

Anyone got any tips for fitting a cork gasket to the rocker cover on my 1.8 8 valve, I fitted a new one yesterday and now its spraying oil from between it. is there an alternative? the cork ones don't last long anyway.

fitting new wishbones

hi all, can fitting GSI/SRi wishbones to a normal 1.8 gls improve handleing or is there no differance/or not fit at all? also I need to know what shocks to use, as mine is lowered but using standard shocks and is a bit bouncy, would SRI shocks do or will they fit ? is there a cheaper option?
