Re: anyone else put 5ers in there car and had problems

If i put that little in I'd be in and out of a petrol station all the time, I'm paid monthly so I fill right up at the start of the month, more or less lasts the month too, so only one visit to the station.....but then how much more petrol do i use dragging a full tank around.....or would i use less...

Re: I'm thinking of buying a Zafira

thanks for all your reply's. they've given me something to think about, as for at looking at a 2.0 turbo one, thats out the question as they come under road tax band L which is about £460 a year :o , and i ain't paying that!

Maybe a diesel is on the cards after all.

Re: I'm thinking of buying a Zafira

I think with the amount of mileage we do in year around 4.5k and the extra you pay for a diesel its probably not worth it, so I will be looking for a petrol one, I was wondering what the petrols were like for reliability, which planetc seems to have answered :thumb

I took my panel out and stripped it down, cleaned the clear plastic bits that direct the light, rather fiddly but did make a differance!

Re: track rod ends

Remove the whole tie rod from the car, much easier to play with it when its on a bench, if you're lucky the adjuster between the track rod end will undo out of the tie rod, if not heat it up, fit your new bits, copper grease up for ease of future adjustment and refit. Much easier than faffing around...

Its the media jumping on the band wagon and banging on about it coupled with human nature of fearing the worst, All to do a Mayan calendar coming to an end, but its just reaching a mile stone just like your car reaching 100,000 miles, more to do with new beginnings and a 400yr cycle the Mayan used. ...

Nice work, useful part numbers too. Not sure those rubbers are sitting properly though tbh, they should lip over the lamp, creating a seal. Yours are tucked under so water can still get in, although obviously they are providing infinitely more protection than none at all. Should look like this (not...

The windscreen always mists up in the morning and takes an age to clear although it hasn't got damp carpets anywhere in the car.
