If i put that little in I'd be in and out of a petrol station all the time, I'm paid monthly so I fill right up at the start of the month, more or less lasts the month too, so only one visit to the station.....but then how much more petrol do i use dragging a full tank around.....or would i use less...

thanks for all your reply's. they've given me something to think about, as for at looking at a 2.0 turbo one, thats out the question as they come under road tax band L which is about £460 a year , and i ain't paying that!

I think with the amount of mileage we do in year around 4.5k and the extra you pay for a diesel its probably not worth it, so I will be looking for a petrol one, I was wondering what the petrols were like for reliability, which planetc seems to have answered

I took my panel out and stripped it down, cleaned the clear plastic bits that direct the light, rather fiddly but did make a differance!

Remove the whole tie rod from the car, much easier to play with it when its on a bench, if you're lucky the adjuster between the track rod end will undo out of the tie rod, if not heat it up, fit your new bits, copper grease up for ease of future adjustment and refit. Much easier than faffing around...

Its the media jumping on the band wagon and banging on about it coupled with human nature of fearing the worst, All to do a Mayan calendar coming to an end, but its just reaching a mile stone just like your car reaching 100,000 miles, more to do with new beginnings and a 400yr cycle the Mayan used. ...

Nice work, useful part numbers too. Not sure those rubbers are sitting properly though tbh, they should lip over the lamp, creating a seal. The windscreen always mists up in the morning and takes an age to clear although it hasn't got damp carpets anywhere in the car.

hi gaz if i was you mate i wouldnt bother with the stick on 1s like i have well the cheap stick on 1s there just too dark as the paper the seller has used is too dark and the temp dials are wrong lol regarding the needles mate there not too bad but you can just put some red nail varnish on them the...

They will fit, and when I fitted the ones to my car I bonded them on with Tiger seal and drilled holes for self tapers underneath along the sill , they won't be coming off anytime soon!
