looking at the posts here looks like it'll be the same as my landy I've stuck 10 litres of new veg oil straight in with about quarter tank of diesel. runs fine tesco's are doing 10 litres for £8 if your after cheap fuel it's cheaper than the £13.59 they want for the same amount of diesel at the minute

Don't forget, tyres have a shelf life (manufacture date stamped into the wall of each one) and can be considered to be dangerous if they've exceeded their life expectancy, even if they are only part worn. Tbh, forget about your blisteringly fast engine or your stupidly efficient brakes... the tyres...

mine has self waxoiled itself from throwing the dipstick out a couple of times before I cured it with a new cam breather gauze and a decoke

with good servicing I see no problem with the engine seeing high mileages but its the bodys and other components that can sometimes get overlooked and so a dead body can often be what stops any vehicle from achieving high mileage

nice going mine has clocked 204000 now and is 19 yro but the engine is 20000 less as i swapped it out from c18nz to c20ne for the bit more fun but i still have the old engine that was good when i took it out so will have a mini rebuild ready to drop in when i get round to boosting the ne :D what age...

haven't seen that before but I know if your ball joint under the scuttle panel falls to bits it can be reliably repaired with 2 small cable ties mines been like it for about 4 years now. good job you put the vid up it should help you get some usefull advice unfortunately I haven't experienced this p...

can't think who makes it but i use a nano wax that i got from halfrauds it might be from turtlewax it comes in a lime green plastic cylinder the top half of the case is a circular microfibre polishing pad and i got it for about £8 and i can't fault it the shine on my cavs 19 year old satin red paint...

even with the solid rear beam you get camber and toe in mine has iirc 2 degrees negative camber and 1.5 degrees toe in with the 17s on but strangely my tyres are wearing quite nicely even with the odd bit of towing I do with her and the regular food shops with 2 kids in the back aswell

my c20ne cav is dropped on mk3 astra -40mm springs with kyb rear shocks for the 1.7td hatch and standard front shocks and a bust ally strut brace and on it's original 14" wheels with 175/65r14 tyres it's a tad low with the 15" wheels and 195/65r15 tyres its more useable, I even tow with it...

Ive been wanting to increase the brake efficiency of my cavs brakes as they only hit about 60% on the mot so I'm thinking a bigger servo and getting some grooved discs on the front and new pads as they are getting worn now anyway then braided flexi's and a complete rebleed. hopefully that'll sort th...

last time i checked solid white lines in the centre of the road meant that you cannot cross them and they are generally there to stop overtaking where there is blind/tight/deceiving corners or other possible 'hidden' dangers ahead. And surely to have to allow the bike to run wide as he did on the 2 ...

and/or the spring cup diameter i.e are the turbo springs a bigger diameter than 8v springs? obviously not an answer but if you have access to measure its something i would look at

2 years to sort my blowing exhaust every time i replaced one section the next bit along decided to give up ended up starting with the back box then centre then flange from down pipe to cat then down pipe then snapped the bolts in the bottom of the manifold so got them drilled and tapped then the man...

I didn't have a clamp on the bulkhead mine is just pressure fitted with a big rubber washer held with a big plastic washer thats part of the cable outer
