Options iv been thinking of are Skoda Fabia vRS 1.9 - nice fast little car but also pretty refind with VAG reliablitly. Vags arnt as reliable as people wish they were ask terkin. take a lock out and get it to a locksmith they can do a key in 15mins
If you take the cowling off under the ignition if there is an chip reader (square black thing strapped round the ignition) then it has it, it probably has being a late sri
