Re: What was your first exspirence of a cav like ?

First experience of a Cavalier was the mk1, and arguments with my mate next door about whose dads car was faster based on what the highest number on the speedo was.

Twoddle..... You can operate the abs solenoids, to facilitate bleeding the pump and valve body, but you cannot retract caliper pistons.

Re: Legal rights - electrical accessories

The point being that the policy in a lot of motor factors and dealers is in place to stop parts being returned when they have been fitted as part of the diagnosis routine. With faulty parts you still have your standard consumer rights. The spin off is that a lot of workshops will tell you that once ...

Sometimes this is the only way to be sure once you have reached a certain point in your work flow, but too many people cut corners in tha...

Ah, just twigged, oil level sensor problem rather than the pressure light. That's not so worrying, and troy is likely to be right. I had visions of you running it with no oil pressure for a moment, which would be a disaster after all the effort

Check the fuses again, this is a behavior that is common to a blown fuse, although I can't remember which one. Too much coincidence, I would double check.

Re: My Cav vs Bmw Motorbike

I've seen a few with excessive negative camber following a bump Mike, usually caused by the tube section of the strut assembly having kinked. Simple enough fix with a doner suspension leg.

I think the screen needs to be broken beyond repair for an insurance claim. It should have little or no effect on your renewal though.
