if you get the head worked, thats your head sorted, but id never buy a "refurbished engine" because you dont know exactly whats been done, there was a company on watchdog that used to jetwash and old engine paint it and sell it as refurbed, its not that expensive to have the bottom end mac...

You could probably run it from your ecu but you wont get the best out of it
and lets and xes are common for a reason, they are cheap and good, no point in bucking the trend for the sake of being different and coming out with less power

its just under 2 ltrs,its run of the mill gearbox oil, look for the female torx bolt around the driveshaft area for the level fill
you fill it under the plastic cap thats on the top of the gearbox after you undo the bolt under it (long reach socket)
