If its coming through the speakers, could it be related to alternator?
I'm assuming you've turned the radio off to see if the noise is still there?

Is it a high pitched sound or just a buzzing whinning sounds?

Powersteering rack sounds like its knackered, be careful if you decide to replace it with a 2nd user one.

Without check control. LS Cavs never had this as standard, so unless your planning to fit it (unlikely to be fair) - get the one without.. unless the one with is cheaper :D :lol: (it will have a hole in it for the sensor but I'm sure you can find some plumbing tape and the correct sized bolt to put ...

wheels make the car look 100% better Brings the car alive do they not? Still no hand brake lol, always left in gear at the moment. Full brake service coming soon... either tomorrow or sometime during the week.... most likely back end of the week (friday sat or sun) Adam I think the spare I have ups...

not sure about the ABS unit, although they did make the pipes wider if I recall correctly on the Vectra.

As for the engine swap, as long as you have everything you need, shouldn't be too difficult.
Get the brakes done too though.

Well i got aeriel done, and refitted clocks, (speedo not working grrr) then my mate was being a nob and broke / snapped my hand brake cable. Ive made a start on it, ive done the n/s/r 1/4 panel with the DA and some Auto glym resin stuff and so far im impressed :D
